It's been a while!

Hi, it's been a while since I posted so time to update you all with what I have been working on. I attended the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Conference in February  and spent the weeks leading up to it finishing the illustrations for "Monsters for Hire" a book that I've been working on for a few years now. Check out the picture book in it's entirety here.

I am currently working on a new giant painting of Siracusa, Italy ,starting from a dark background and expanding outward... we'll see how that goes.

My Katapilla Solutions business continues to do well, been making lots of graphics for my clients, including this rejected one (yet super cute) fire cracker.  More to come!

New this Week: Salzburg & Sicily

With the dust settled on Oktoberfest, I can go back to devoting daily time to making art. I jumped right into expanding a few drawings from my Sicily sketchbook back in January and finishing a painting I started way back in June before I went to my residency in France... the old town of Salzburg, Austria, from my climb up to the fortress overlooking the town.

See all this work and more in person next week at City-Wide Open Studios in New Haven Oct 11 & 12!

Salzburg, Austria ... the hills are alive! 30"x10", $120 for sale here
